Very quick cake I made for my boyfriend's 22nd Birthday. Genoise sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream filling.
Took about 20 minutes to decorate it! I was going to use piped glace icing, but as soon as I got the black food colouring out I got a little carried away. I tried to emphasise the whole ink blot thing, I was inspired by the comic drawings, but I used the ink blot that they usually have on the character in the film.
